The main mission of the Madagascar Mining Cadastre Office is to manage mining authorizations and permits from the submission of applications until their expiration by applying three fundamental values in its management method: clarity, transparency and efficiency.
Add to this, the BCMM recovers mining administration costs and distributes the shares to the different beneficiaries (regions, municipalities, etc.)
The BCMM also makes informations relating to the mining cadastre and the procedures to follow for obtaining mining permits available to the public.
Finally, it contributes to the promotion, at national and international level, of the Malagasy mining sector.
